SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before using your appliance for the first time,
please read these instructions carefully: the
manufacturer cannot be held responsible for
any incorrect use or failure to follow the
instructions.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they
have
been
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not operate the appliance when empty or
when the accessories are stored inside the
bowl.
• This appliance complies with the technical rules
and standards in force.
• It is designed to operate solely with A.C. voltage.
Before first use, check that the voltage on the
rating plate of the appliance matches that of
your electrical installation.
• Do not place or use this appliance on a hot hob
or close to a flame (gas cooker).
• The appliance should only be used on a flat,
stable, heat-resistant work top away from
splashes of water. Do not turn it upside down.
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Wash the bowl (B) , the lid (E) and the
accessories (C, D) with soapy water. Rinse and
dry.
USE
• Fitting the bowl (B) into position:
Place the bowl (B) on the motor unit (A) then
turn it to the left to lock it (anti-clockwise) until
it reaches the stop (fig. 1).
• Place the knife (D) on the drive (C).

• Do not remove the lid before the knife has
completely stopped.
• The appliance must be unplugged:
*if a problem occurs during operation,
*each time before cleaning or maintenance,
*after use.
• Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the
power cord.
• Only use an extension lead after checking that
it is in perfect condition.

• A household appliance must not be used if:
*it has been dropped,
*the knife is damaged or incomplete.
• Always unplug the appliance from the mains if
it is left unattended and before fitting / removing
accessories or cleaning it.
• Wait until the tools have completely stopped
before opening the lid.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, the After-sales
service or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid any danger.

use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate
use or failure to comply with the instructions,
the manufacturer accepts no responsibility
and the guarantee will not apply.
Caution: the blades are very sharp, handle the
knife (D) with care when using or cleaning your
appliance.

• Fitting the lid (G) into position:
Place the lid (G) on the bowl (B) then turn it to
the left (anti-clockwise) up to the stop (fig. 4).
