The NOVA LBS Load Break Switch has a power through control interface tripping/closing operations without AC power. In the absence of AC and is fully operational with Eaton's LBC control equipped with a switched power supply required to drive the mechanism, interface power to the electronic control, the control battery will provide circuitry and a fully shielded 19-pin cable.

Refer to the control operation manual. Use the following procedures to perform high-potential withstand tests at 75% of the rated low-frequency withstand voltage for 60 seconds.
