After installing a new processor onto the system board, always update the system ROM to ensure that the latest version of the

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Remove the computer cover (

Fan Shroud
Remove the fan shroud (
4.
Remove any memory modules that might interfere with the screwdriver used for removing the speaker.
5.
Disconnect the speaker wire from the system board.
6.
Remove the two screws that secure the speaker to the chassis (1).
7.
Rotate the top of the speaker back to clear the lip on the top of the chassis, then lift the speaker up and out of the chassis (2).
To install the speaker, reverse the removal procedures.

Power Supply

Voltage is always present on the system board when the computer is plugged into an active AC outlet. To avoid
   WARNING:
possible personal injury and damage to the equipment the power cord should be disconnected from the computer and/or the AC
outlet before opening the computer.
