Using The Oster
Technology.
Before you use the product for the first time, separate all parts
and clean them. Refer to page 10-11 for cleaning instructions.
Blade & Jar Assembly
1. Place the Sealing Ring over the Blade Assembly, into the
locking groove (Figure 1).
WARNING: Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
2. Lift the Blending Jar up, with the smaller opening facing
downwards. Screw the Blade Assembly with Sealing Ring
onto the smaller opening of the Blending Jar by pushing up and turning clockwise.
3. Choose an Oster recipe and place all ingredients into the Blending Jar.
4. Secure the Jar Lid with Seal Selector onto the Blending Jar by aligning the
notch in the Blending Jar to the tab on the Jar Lid.
5. Press the Arm Release Button to lift the Arm Lock on the FoodSaver™
Vacuum Arm (Figure 2).
6. Place the Blending Jar on the Motor Base (Figure 3) and turn the Blending Jar
clockwise until the vacuum ports (Figures 4a and 4b) align (Figure 5).
7. Plug the power cord into a standard household 120/127 volt, 60 hz. AC outlet.
8. Press the Power Button to turn the blender on. The FoodSaver™ Vacuum
Arm Light Indicator will blink three times and then stay on.

9. Push the Arm Lock on the FoodSaver™ Vacuum Arm
down (Figure 6). The FoodSaver™ Vacuum Arm Light
Indicator will turn off.
