12(22) 6. Instructions for use Check the attachment and the operating area before starting to work. Quick inspection of the vacuum brush prior use is part of ensuring safety and the best performance of the equipment. Practise the use of the attachment and its controls at an open and safe area.
  • Page 13: Use

13(22) 6.2. Use The vacuum brush is started by turning the auxiliary hydraulics control lever of the loader to it’s locked position. The vacuum unit, brush and optional side brushes start at the same time. For the best performance, set the attachment floating system as described in chapter page. Practise the use of the equipment at a sufficiently open area, where are no obstacles.

14(22) Safety valve: The attachment is fitted with a safety valve, which is intended to stop the hydraulic flow when the attachment is lifted off from the ground. The valve will stop the rotating brush or brushes when lifting the broom or when the floating has been set too low.
  • Page 15: Adjusting The Rotating Speed Of The Brushes

15(22) 6.4. Adjusting the rotating speed of the brushes The vacuum brush is equipped with a valve for controlling the rotating speed of the brushes steplessly. The adjustment will affect all brushes the same way. Adjusting the rotating speed is necessary when operating on sandy or fragile surfaces.

Open the door only when at the emptying site and empty the box by lifting and tilting it forward. During operation the collected trash is packed into a compact package, and in dry conditions it will be easy to empty without assisting it by hand.
