OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS STARTING PROCEDURE ALL MODELS: The carburetors on MARUYAMA engines do not contain a choke system and are designed to start at IDLE speed. A greater throttle setting will caus e dif ficult starting. To properly start a ucold" engine, perform the following procedure.

Only the idling speed can be adjusted by turning the idle speed adjustment screw (see sketch). The correct idle speed 2800-3200RPM. Turning adjustment screw clockwise will increase the idle speed. If further adjustment is necessary, please contact local authorized MARUYAMA dealer.
