Introduction Introduction Monitor Features The main features of the ELSA ECOMO 21S99 are described below to give you an over- view of the monitor’s capabilities. On-Screen Display Settings for the monitor can be adjusted quickly and easily using the on-screen display menu.
Introduction Plug&Play (DDC) The ECOMO 21S99 is equipped with the DDC1 and DDC2B functions (DDC = Display Data Channel), which the monitor can use to transmit information (e.g. graphics modes sup- ported and timing) to the host computer. This system works only if the host computer (the graphics card) also supports the DDC function.

Today’s graphics boards, and the ECOMO 21S99 , are capable of communicating using DDC (Display Data Channel). The ECOMO 21S99 can send its parameters to the graphics board. In turn, the graphics board ensures that the monitor operates at the highest pos- sible refresh rate for the resolution selected.

Technical Data Power Management Function The ECOMO 21S99 complies with the guidelines set by VESA and Energy Star together with the stringent standards of NUTEK.
