SAFETY ADVICE

Parents are liable for their children. Please follow this advice to ascertain your child's safety. Read
these instructions carefully and keep them in the compartment provided on the baby seat. Your
child's safety could be jeopardised if you do not follow the safety information. You should explain the
operation in detail to everybody using the baby seat.
• This is an universal child restraint. It has been approved accordance with ECE 44.04. It will fit
• most but not all vehicle seats.
• You are personally responsible for the safety of your baby at all times.
• Never hold your baby on your lap when driving.
• Replace the baby seat when it has been subject of violent stresses in an accident: the safety of
your child can no longer be guaranteed.
• Before use, read the instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. By not observing this
advice, technical faults may occur at your product and subsequently jeopardise the safety of your
child.
• The baby seat is suitable for children from 0-15 months or up to a maximum weight of 13 kg.
• ATTENTION: Do not make any changes to the baby seat whatever, as this could affect the perfor-
mance of the baby seat and render it unsafe.
• ATTENTION: To prevent children from being STRANGULATED in loose or partially secured belts,
always strap your child in completely, even when the baby seat is used outside the vehicle.
• Never leave your baby unattended.
• Always secure your baby with the harness belt.
• Before every use, make sure the harness is not damaged or twisted.
• Make sure the seat belt was threaded in accordance with the instructions. The seat belt must be
threaded along the blue stickers.
• Make sure you can fit no more than one finger between the harness and your baby (1 cm).
• ATTENTION: Never place the baby seat on an elevated surface (such as a table or chair).
• Always check to make sure the baby seat can be installed properly in your car before purchasing it.
• Make sure that any fold-down rear seat is locked into position.
• Prevent the baby seat from becoming trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats and/or slam-
ming doors.
• Make sure that all luggage and other loose objects are secure.
• The safest place for your baby is the rear of your vehicle, however if you need to install the seat in
the front passenger seat, please ensure that any airbag is deactivated.
• Only use a forward-facing seat that is fitted with a 3-point safety belt that complies with the ECE
R16 standard (at a minimum).
• Make sure the car safety belt buckle runs in a straight line and stays below the belt hook of the
baby seat.
• The buckle for the vehicle saftey belt must not come above the edge of the lap belt guide.
• The baby seat must be secured with the car seat belt when not in use.
• Always cover the baby seat when exposed to direct sunlight in the car. Otherwise, the cover, metal
and plastic parts could become too hot for your child's skin.
• ATTENTION: The baby seat may only be installed in a rear-facing position in the car.
• Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach of your child to avoid the risk of suffocation.
