7.2.2 Determining the air content in the head gas
Read the general method and follow the instructions below for the following uses.
1. Checking the filling unit
=> Do not shake the bottle or can. Close the needle valve in time to prevent the lye from
entering the bottle or can.
2. Correcting the CO
=> Shake the bottle or can beforehand. Close the needle valve in time to prevent beer from
flowing into the lye.
7.2.3 Determining the total air content in a bottle or can
Read the general method and follow the instructions below for the following use.
3. Determining the total air content
=> Do not initially shake the bottle or can. Allow the head gas to escape and then shake the
bottle or can immediately, together with the ICM-2000, and then allow the gas to escape again.
Repeat this until no more gas is released.
7.2.4 Calculating CO2 with air correction
The standard formula has been adjusted for air correction:
