    Start-up Preparation Start-up 4 – Start-up Start-up Preparation Before going to the site, ensure the following: • The latest versions of pump and CRIND software are present on your laptop. Update the software, if required. • V5.5 or later Internet Explorer (IE) browser installed on your laptop. Communicate with the site and obtain information about the site’s communication scheme and IP settings.

    Start-up Before Start-up Installing Software in Gilbarco Site Server IMPORTANT INFORMATION Install the site server software and refer to “Configuring Laptop for Communication and Programming Site Server” page 4-3 to program the LRE switch before going to the site, if possible. This reduces the time required to spend on the phone at the site. The site server software is distributed as a CD-ROM ISO image.

    Before Start-up Start-up Installing Site Server Software from CD-ROM To install the site server software from a CD-ROM, proceed as follows: Ensure that the Gilbarco Site Server is powered up. Insert the CD-ROM containing the software in the site server’s CD-ROM drive, and press RESET.

To configure the Applause Media System, proceed as follows: After you connect to the Gilbarco Site Server IP address, click Click Here to Begin Setup in the Setup screen.

The Network Settings screen appears (see Figure 4-8 page 4-8). To configure the site server, proceed as follows: Go to http://www.gilbarco.com/interactive/login.cfm. Enter the User ID and Password provided by your employer’s gatekeeper.
