Additional safety-hints for Double bench
grinders

Be sure to wear safety-goggles, working gloves
and ear-protection during your work.

Before using the bench grinder for the first time
it has to be fastened on a workbench or similar
surface.

Before changing grinding-discs always dis-
connect the bench grinder from the power-
outlet.

Before changing the grinding-disc check
carefully whether the new disc is not broken or
the edges are damaged. Broken or damaged
discs must not be used!

Do not start your work, before the machine has
reached the nominal full speed.

After having changed a grinding-disc let the
machine run without load for at least five
minutes. In case there are strong vibrations,
check the disc again and fasten again or use a
new disc.

Use only the attached original flange for the
fastening of new grinding-discs.

Never try to enlarge the hole of the grinding-
disc by drilling or other job.

The tool-support and the adjustable protection-
shields have to be fixed close to the grinding
disc.
Please observe the following distances:
tool support – grinding-disc
protection-shield – grinding disc
Never use the bench grinder without having the
safety- devices mounted and adjusted correctly!

Recommended nominal operating-time: approx. 20
minutes under permanent load.
Rest after permanent operation: 5-10 minutes.

Changing the grinding-discs

Before changing the grinding-discs always
disconnect the bench grinder from the
power-supply.

Remove the disc-cover.

Loosen the fastening-screw by using a spanner
and remove the outer flange.

Pull the damaged or worked-out grinding-disc
from the idle and replace by using a new disc.

Push the flange on the idle against the disc and
fasten the screw sufficiently.
