Installation Advice

1.
Mounting of the Bottom Plate and Gearbox – Remove the mechanism cover to expose the mounting
holes and tubular motor assembly.
2.
Take note that the gearbox assembly is required to be mounted on the opposing side from the travel
direction of the awing arm. If not the swing arm will hit the gearbox.
3.
Take note of the gearbox shaft position, as this is the centre line of the arm position for installation.
4.
Using suitable fixing hardware, designed for the type of wall structure you have available to mount. You
will find 14 x mounting hole positions for you to choose from, with a minimum of 8 fixing points being the
minimum required. Fit to wall.
5.
Now fit the top mounting plate assembly – it needs to be mounted in direct vertical centreline with the
gearbox shaft, as mentioned above, and at a minimum distance of 1600mm separation from the two
plate assemblies. You will find 8 mounting holes to choose from with a minimum of 4 fixing positions
required. Ensure the plate is installed the correct way up, which is fitted with the wider dimension on the
horizontal with the nylon cable bush at the central of the assembly running vertically.
