ADDITIONAL SAFETY AND WORKING
INSTRUCTIONS
● Observe the mains voltage! The voltage of the pow-
er source must correspond with the data on the type
plate of the vacuum cleaner.
● For dry vacuuming, a dust bag should be inserted.
When using a dust bag, the folded fi lter remains
unclogged longer, the vacuuming performance is
maintained longer, and the disposal of dust is made
easier.
● Remove the dust bag and empty the container be-
fore wet vacuuming.
● The vacuum cleaner has a blower function. Do not
blow the outgoing air randomly in enclosed areas.
Use the blower function only with the a clean hose.
Dusts can be hazardous to one's health.
● After vacuuming, remove the folded fi lter to prevent
the forming of mould and allow it to dry thoroughly;
especially before using it for dry vacuuming.
● Operate the vacuum cleaner only with the folded fi l-
ter mounted.
● A socket outlet with earthing contact is integrated in
the vacuum cleaner. An external power tool can be
connected there. The vacuum cleaner is automati-
cally put into operation via the power tool. Observe
the maximal allowable load of the connected power
tool.
● The vacuum cleaner may not be used as a water
pump. The vacuum cleaner is intended for vacuum-
ing air and water mixtures.
● Wipe out the container from time to time with a com-
mercially available, non-scouring cleaning agent,
and allow it to dry.

INTENDED USE

The machine is intended for collection, vacuuming,
conveying and separation of non-fl ammable dry dusts
that correspond with the general exposition limit val-
ue of > 1 mg/m
3
, such as dusts of mineral materials
with aluminium hydroxide, graphite dusts, aluminium
dusts, paper dusts, soot dusts, powder paint dusts,
polyurethane dusts, GFRP dusts based on epoxy resin
(see manufacturer's data sheet on safety), CFP dusts
based on epoxy resin (see manufacturer's data sheet
on safety), varnish dusts without carcinogenic compo-
nents, wood dusts and non-fl ammable liquids and wa-
ter-air mixtures. The vacuum cleaner is dust-technically
checked and corresponds with dust category L.
The vacuum cleaner has a blower function, e. g. for
drying surfaces.
The vacuum cleaner has a socket outlet with remote
automatic switching for connection of a power tool with
extraction function.
It is suitable for the increased demands of industrial us-
age, as required in trades, industry and workshops.
The vacuum cleaner may generally not be used in
rooms where the danger of an explosion exists.

TROUBLESHOOTING

● Switch the vacuum cleaner off immediately as soon
as foam or water comes out, and empty the con-
tainer. Otherwise, the vacuum cleaner can become
damaged.
● The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a fl oat. When
the maximum fi lling height is reached, the suction
capacity is reduced. Set the On/Off switch to posi-
tion "0" and empty the container.
● If the suction force is so high that the connected
power tool adheres too fi rmly against the working
surface, regulate the airfl ow.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

● For safe and proper working, always keep the vacu-
um cleaner and ventilation slots clean.
A dust-technical inspection is to be carried out at least
once every year by the manufacturer or an instructed
person, e. g. for damage of the fi lter, tightness against
leakage of the vacuum cleaner and function of the con-
trol/monitoring unit.
For category L vacuum cleaners that were in contami-
nated environments, the exterior as well as all machine
parts should be cleaned or treated with sealants. When
performing maintenance and repair work, all contami-
nated components that cannot be cleaned to satis-
factory must be disposed of. Such components must
be disposed of in impermeable plastic bags conform-
ing with the valid regulations for the disposal of such
waste.
For maintenance on behalf of the user, the vacuum
cleaner must be disassembled, cleaned and main-
tained as far as feasible, without causing a risk for the
maintenance personnel or other persons. Prior to dis-
assembly, the vacuum cleaner should be cleaned in or-
der to prevent any risks. The room/enclosure in which
the vacuum cleaner is disassembled should be well
ventilated. Wear personal protective equipment during
maintenance. After the maintenance, the maintenance
area should be cleaned.
ENVIRONMENT
In order to prevent the machine from damage during
transport, it is delivered in a sturdy packaging. Most
of the packaging materials can be recycled. Take
these materials to the appropriate recycling locations.
Take your unwanted machines to your local SBM
Group dealer. Here they will be disposed of in an
environmentally safe way.
