Icon
Indicates that the wireless network is
an Access Point with disabled Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encryption
an Access Point with enabled WEP encryption
an Access Point with disabled WEP encryption and MyPal is currently
connected to this network
an Access Point with enabled WEP encryption and MyPal is currently
connected to this network
a wireless device with disabled WEP encryption
a wireless device with enabled WEP encryption
a wireless device with disabled WEP encryption and MyPal is currently
connected to this network
a wireless device with enabled WEP encryption and MyPal is currently
connected to this network
ESSID - shows the Extended Service Set Indenfier (ESSID) of the wireless
network found in the search.
CH - shows the channel used by a wireless device.
RSSI - shows the Received Signal
Strength Indication (RSSI) transmitted
by each wireless network. This
information is helpful in determining
which network you wish to associate
your device. This signal is normally
represented by a dBm value.
BSSID - shows the Media Access Control (MAC) address of the access
point, or the Basic Service Set ID (BSSID) in an ad-hoc mode.
