A. Basic Bed Opera ons
Use footboard or siderail controls to raise or lower the head section (back rest) and/or the knee section of the
Bed Ar cula ons
mattress deck or the entire bed. PUSH and HOLD the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to achieve desired positioning.
PUSH and HOLD the CPR button to flatten the head (backrest) and knee sections of the mattress deck in an emergency.
Emergency CPR
PUSH and HOLD the TREND or rev.TREND bu on to achieve either func on. To level the bed, press and hold
Trend/
the opposite TREND func on bu on. The bed will automa cally stop once level.
Reverse Trend
PUSH and HOLD the CHAIR bu on un l the bed stops in the desired chair posi on. PUSH and HOLD the LEVEL
Chair
ALL bu on to fla en the ma ress deck and to level the bed.
Press the CONTOUR bu on to engage the Auto Contour func on. An illuminated CONTOUR bu on indicates
Auto Contour
that the Auto Contour func on is engaged. The knee sec on will automa cally raise or lower when the head
(backrest) sec on of the ma ress deck is ar culated. The Auto Contour func on will be ignored when the
knee Lock‐Out has been ac vated.
PUSH and HOLD the LEVEL ALL bu on to fla en head (backrest) and knee sec ons of the ma ress deck.
Level All
To restrict pa ent use of all siderail controls, press the pa ent LOCK bu on under each func on. When the
Lock‐Outs
LOCK bu on is illuminated, pa ent use of that par cular func on from any siderail control is restricted.
When the LOCK bu on is not illuminated, pa ent use of that func on is permi ed.
NOTE: The footboard staff control remains func onal when pa ent Lock‐Outs have been ac vated.
To restrict all siderail and footboard controls, press all three LOCK bu ons simultaneously. When the Master
Master Lock‐Out
Lock‐Out has been ac vated, all three LOCK bu ons will flash sequen ally. To de‐ac vate the Master Lock‐
Out, press all three LOCK bu ons simultaneously again.
NOTE: The Emergency CPR function and Nurse Call buttons remain functional when the Master Lock‐Out has been activated.
B. Bed Exit Alarm
1. Place pa ent in bed
2. Press SET/RESET bu on to cycle through sensi vity levels (zones); stop at appropriate level
3. An audible "chirp" will sound to indicate that Bed Exit Alarm has been armed
4. Press CHIME bu on to cycle through volume and priority call op ons; stop at desired level
A Bed Exit Alarm Can Be Silenced By:
Pressing either SET/RESET or CHIME bu ons. This will pause Bed Exit Alarm. To resume Bed Exit Alarm opera on,
return pa ent to bed and press SET/RESET bu on. If pa ent is not returning to bed, press SET/RESET bu on to
deac vate Bed Exit Alarm; OR
Returning pa ent to original posi on in bed. A "chirp" will sound to indicate Bed Exit Alarm has been re‐ac vated.
To Change Bed Exit Alarm Chime (Song): PUSH and HOLD CHIME bu on for 3 seconds to jump directly to menu sec on that will
allow you to cycle through different chimes. When desired chime is heard, press ON/ENTER bu
C. Underbed Nightlight
Press LIGHT bu on to scroll through brightness levels of underbed nightlight (OFF – LOW – MEDIUM – HIGH).
Bed Exit Nightlight: Automa cally illuminates when pa ent exits bed. Automa cally turns off when pa ent re‐enters bed or
a er 15 minutes has elapsed
