15. OUTER CLEANING
WARNING! TURN OFF POWER SUPPLY TO THE CABINET BY DISCONNECTING THE POWER
PLUG BEFORE CLEANING.
For a good preservation of the cabinet's body a periodical cleaning is necessary:
1. EXTERNAL BODY:
solution.
2. STAINLESS STEEL SURFACES:
scouring pads etc. which will spoil the finish of the stainless steel.
3. SURFACES IN PLASTIC MATERIAL:
under no circumstances should alcohol, methylated spirits or solvents be used.
4. GLASS SURFACES:
which can leave a film of calcium on the surface of the glass.

16. TANK CLEANING

WARNING! TURN OFF POWER SUPPLY TO THE CABINET BY DISCONNECTING THE POWER
PLUG BEFORE CLEANING.
By tank cleaning, proceed as follows:
1. Place the goods in special refrigerated containers, kept at the same temperature and remove the shelves.
2. Before cleaning the tank the inside temperature must be equal to the ambient temperatur.
3. Leave the doors open and begin the operation of tank washing when the tank temperature is the same as the ambient
temperature.
4. Proceed with washing and drying the internal chamber with a cloth using neutral PH detergent and fresh water.
5. Clean the surfaces with a cloth, using neutral PH detergent, rinse and dry.
6. Clean the height adjusters supporting the levels with a jet of air.
7. Avoid water entering into the appliance lighting units.
8. Then plug the unit and wait till the appliance reaches the right temperature before filling it again.
Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
Never use a water hose or a high-pressure jet to clean the cabinet.
WARNING! Do not use jet of water to clean the cabinet: electrical wiring could be
damaged.
WARNING! Never use mechanical devices or any other means to accelerate the defrosting
process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
17 WATER COLLECTION TANK CLEANING
Attention!
Clean based on use and need and in particular environmental conditions
(e.g. high humidity, low room temperature, presence of dust, etc.) to avoid
incorrect and incomplete evaporation of water and/or presence of unpleasant
odours.
18. PROLONGED SWITCH OFF
When the unit is not used for a long time, please take note of the following procedures:
• Unplug the unit.
• Clean and dry the tank well.
• Leave the glass door open to avoid possible formation of bad odours
• Cover the unit with a curtain, place it in a dry room and sheltered from the atmospheric agents.
