Troubleshooting

Before carrying out any of the following service checks, unplug the FoodCycler from the mains.
PROBLEM
FoodCycler will not start
Power light
-Flashing & FoodCycler beeps
- Flashing and FoodCycler does not operate
- No light
Any Indicator Lights
-Flashing & FoodCycler stops processing
-No Light
Excessive noise
A Manual Reset is necessary if your FoodCycler operating system needs to be reset to an earlier
mode following a minor malfunction.
Follow these instructions to properly complete a manual reset:
1. Plug FoodCycler in.
2. Press and hold the Power On/Off button for 3 seconds, until you hear a beep and the
FoodCycler shuts off.
3. Unplug your FoodCycler for 1 minute.
4. Plug your FoodCycler back in and wait ten seconds.
5. Press the Power On/Off button as you normally would to start a cycle.
If the Manual Reset does not work the first time, try resetting again.

NOTE
If your FoodCycler is signalling a components issue, do not continue using.
Contact Breville Customer Service Centre.

WHAT TO DO
Check that the power plug is connected to a
power outlet and the outlet is turned on.
Check that your FoodCycler is assembled
correctly.
Lid unlocked/sensor dislodged
Require manual reset
No power, check connection
Motor overloaded. Check any food jam inside
the bucket. Remove some of the food scraps from
bucket.
NOTE: It only applies to the drying light.
No power, check connection
Contact Breville Customer Service Centre if the
problem still exists. It may be component issue on
FoodCycler.
Check that your FoodCycler is on a level surface
