Some libraries or dealers may have chosen to limit the functionality of your Victor Reader
Classic. If your player is operating in limited mode, then the following keys will behave
differently:
The four Navigation arrow keys will be disabled. No audible beep will be heard when pressing
these keys.
Tapping the Fast-Forward and Rewind keys will not activate the Undo/Redo features. Only a
beep will be played when pressing these keys.
The Bookmark function will be disabled. Instead, the Bookmark key will be used as a Sleep key.
Each successive keypress will activate a 15, 30, 45, 60 or OFF (default is OFF) minute delay
until Victor Reader will automatically power Off.
The Info key will not have the Sleep function for normal player operation.
NOTE: If you have a limited player and wish to restore the extended functions please contact
your dealer or library.
