K-KEY-LT DESCRIPTION
R-KEY-LT is a sturdy and compact ModBUS gateway converting from the TCP-IP ModBUS
protocol to a ModBUS RTU/ASCII and vice-versa. It supports up to 8 ModBUS TCP-IP
clients at the same time, with a maximum of 10 ModBUS TCP-IP servers. With this model,
ModBUS slave serial devices can be integrated in an existing ModBUS TCP-IP network,
and ModBUS TCP-IP server devices can be made accessible to serial masters. It is fitted
with Vac/Vdc supply on the hardware itself, 1.5 kVac isolation and a wide temperature
range. R-KEY-LT can be supplied also via a 230 Vac mains power supply. The product can
be configured via web server.

POSSIBLE CONFIGURATIONS
From Ethernet ModBUS to serial
From serial ModBUS to Ethernet
R-KEY-LT can be fully set up via integrated web server. The programming and/or configuration
tools of the product, as well as all the manuals, can be downloaded from
www.seneca.it/products/r-key-lite.
SETTINGS
On first start-up, the IP address is allocated by the DHCP server of
the LAN network.
The selectors of DIP-switch-SW2 are set to OFF by default (*)
If a DHCP server is not available in your network,
(5 minutes after start-up) R-KEY-LT will be initialized with the
First start-up default IP address 169.254.x.y, where the values x and y are the
IP address last two figures of the MAC address (see label on the side of the
configuration product).
N.B. With the SDD (SENECA Discovery Device) Windows PC
software that can be downloaded free of charge from
www.seneca.it/products/sdd, it is possible to identify the device in
the network and view/modify the IP address with just a few clicks
(see user manual for all the details).
To access the configuration Web server, just write the IP address
of the product in your navigation browser and access with the
Web Server following credentials:
With DIP-switch-SW1 it is possible to set the polarization of the
bus for port RS485. (*)
