Wearing a helmet
Wearing a bike helmet is strongly recommended, especially for children.
It guarantees a reduction in head trauma in the event of a fall. For more information, contact your dealer
Bell
A bell is installed on your handlebars. It will allow you to be heard from a distance of 50m.
It is included on the left brake lever to encourage its use.
2) ADJUSTING THE SEAT AND THE HANDLEBARS
It is important to adapt the settings of your bike to your body type.
Seat
To check the correct height of the seat, you must be seated with your legs outstretched and
your heel resting on the pedal (fig. A). While pedalling, your knee will be slightly bent (fig. B).

When adjusting the seat to its lowest position, make sure that it does not touch any part of the
bike, such as the protective cover of the battery.
Similarly, make sure not to exceed the maximum mark.
Handlebars
The handlebars of your bike can be adjusted both in height and tilt.
Setting the height and tilt of the handlebars
Your bike is equipped with an adjustable stem without tools. To adjust your stem, you can do
the following:

Step B: Pull up the lever

Step C: Adjust inclination of the stem and position of the handlebar. Screw the horizontal screw
to tighten the steering set according to the torque specified in the torque table. See paragraph
IV MAINTENANCE.

3) Tyres

Your Dandy bike is equipped with 26-inch (26") or 24-inch (24") wheels. Check the tyre pressure
periodically.
Riding with insufficiently inflated or over-inflated tyres can adversely affect performance, cause
premature wear, result in damage to the rim, reduce battery life or increase the risk of accidents.
If a significant wear or a tear is visible on one of the tyres, replace it before using the bike.

4) Brakes

The right handle activates your rear brake, while the left handle activates the front brake.
It is recommended to distribute your braking force to 60/40 on average between the front and the rear.
Your Wayscral bike is equipped with a front disc brake and a V-brake rear brake.
Warning: In case of rain or wet weather, braking distances are extended.
Front disc brakes
Disc brakes require no maintenance.However, never throw oil or lubricant
onto the disc or brake pads, for example, when servicing the chain or
derailleur. If this happens, the brake pads must be changed or degreased.
Discs: Your bike is equipped with discs with a diameter of 160mm.
