Problem
The machine does not switch
on.
The pump is very noisy.
The coffee is too cold.
The coffee is brewed too fast,
crema does not form.
Coffee is not brewed or
brewed in drips only.
The machine is not dispensing
hot water.
The capsule compartment is
not closed.
Please contact the customer service for any problems not covered in the above table or when the suggested
solutions do not solve the problem.
Meaning of the warning
The machine is ready for espresso coffee brewing and hot water dispensing.
The machine is warming up for espresso coffee brewing and/or hot water dispensing.
The machine is ready for filter coffee brewing.
The machine is warming up for filter coffee brewing.
Prime the water circuit; fill the water tank and dispense hot water.
The boiler's temperature is too high: prime the water circuit. Dispense hot water until
the indicator light becomes green.
Selection knob in the wrong position. To return to the correct operation and repeat
the procedure, turn the knob back to the central position.
Opening of the capsule compartment during coffee brewing or hot water dispensing.
Possible cause
The machine is not connected to the
power supply.
No water in the tank.
The multifunction indicator (14) was
flashing during coffee brewing.
The cups are cold.
Old or not suitable capsule.
Water tank is empty.
The machine has limescale build-up.
Not suitable capsule.
Hot water wand spout clogged.
The capsule is not inserted correctly.
The lever is not completely raised.
solution
Connect the machine to the power supply.
Refill with water (section 4.4).
Wait until the indicator is permanently on.
Preheat the cups with hot water.
Change the used capsule.
Refill with water (section 4.4).
Descale the machine (section 10).
Change the type of capsule.
Clean the spout with a needle.
Before performing this operation, turn
off the machine, let it cool down, and
turn the dispensing knob (12) to the
central position.
Check the capsule position; if necessary,
replace it.
Raise the capsule compartment opening
lever completely, and try to close it again.
