When storing and transporting the product,
always observe the ambient conditions
specified in the technical data of this
product.
The Li-ion battery is subject to the
requirements of the law on dangerous
goods. The user is allowed to transport the
batteries by road without any further
statutory requirements. When batteries are
shipped by third parties (e.g., transport by
air or by a forwarding company), the
packaging and identification labels must
meet special requirements. In this case, an

expert in dangerous goods must be called
in before the package is prepared.

Batteries may only be shipped with their
housing undamaged. Tape open contacts
and pack the battery such that it cannot
move inside the packaging.
Please also follow any other national
regulations.
Note:
When the battery is delivered, the
manufacturing date is printed on the
packaging. The battery must be recharged
not later than 24 months after this date.
Improper handling may cause damage!
The battery may be destroyed by deep
discharge.
Please be absolutely sure to

recharge the battery within the
interval prescribed.
Improper storage may cause
damage!
Improper storage may result in short-
circuit.
Keep the battery away from rain or

moisture.
Keep the unused battery away from

paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws and other small metallic
objects which might bridge the
contacts.
Tape the contacts of the battery if

you store it outside the tool or the
battery charger.
