5.2 CONTROL PANEL (Cont'd)
If the LN Tank is empty and unable to fill the tub with liquid nitrogen change the LN Tank and
touch RESUME to begin operation.
If the lid is not completely closed and latched, the screen will display LID OPEN, as shown in
Figure 8. To abort the program touch the button. To continue with the program
touch the RESUME button after the lid has been completely closed. When the tub is filled with
liquid nitrogen to the correct level, and the lid is securely latched, the STATUS BAR will turn
green and begin counting down. The PRECOOL sequence will start indicating the beginning of
the grinding program.

During the PRECOOL stage the TIME REMAINING line counts down the time for that stage in
1-second increments for Mono or Dual mode. To pause the program touch the
button. To continue the program, touch the RESUME button. To abort the program, touch the
button. To start a new program, touch the button.
When the programmed stage (e.g. PRECOOL) is complete a green check mark will appear next
to that field. (Samples must be precooled)
