Fault indicator
Red LED marked ±0,5 °C flashes.
Intermittent tone is sounded.
Red LED marked Sensor comes on.
Continuous tone.
In the skin temperature display:
3 dashes in the middle.
N N N N
Red LED marked
comes on.
Continuous tone.
Red LED marked Inop comes on.
In the timer, the message Err is
displayed alternately with an error
code.
Constant tone starts.
Lighting does not work.
Insufficient radiant power.
36 °C reference temperature is
outside the tolerance of ± 0.1 °C
when key 6 is pressed.
In the skin temperature display:
3 dashes at bottom
3 dashes at top

Cause
Actual value of skin temperature
deviates by more than ± 0.5 °C from
the set value.
Connector of the skin temperature
sensor not plugged in.
Sensor defective.
No electric voltage.
Malfunction
Halogen lamp defective.
One or more infrared radiators
defective.
Inaccurate operation of the
temperature measuring device.
Skin temperaturee < 33 °C
Skin temperature > 38 °C.
Remedy
If the measured value is less than
the set value:
check that the skin temperature
sensor is correctly fixed.
If the measured value is greater than
the set value:
measure the core temperature.
Check the plug-in connection.
Remove the sensor from the patient;
switch over to »Man« mode;
replace sensor, and then switch
back to »Auto« mode.
Check that the power plug is
connected.
Check that both mains fuses are
working correctly.
Check that the mains voltage is
available.
Call Dräger Service.
Note the error code.
Call Dräger Service.
Have the halogen lamp replaced by
trained personnel.
Have the radiant heater replaced by
trained personnel.
Call Dräger Service.
Check that the skin temperature
sensor is correctly fixed.
