DOME CONNECTIONS Connect the R+, R- terminals on the dome to the D+, D - terminals on the DigiMux I/O board, respectively. Only two wires are required for domeconnection. Follow the next step after you power up the unit. Set the RS-485 parameters in DigiMux to the same parameters as the protocol for RS-422 setup of the dome.
Quick Setup Guide Enter the Dome ID for your dome camera(s). A dome ID is a number between 1 and 255 that uniquely identifies a dome camera. Press ESC until the Exit menu is displayed. Select Save and Exit. LAN SETUP FOR THE DIGIMUX Use this LAN setup when you are using a LAN, WAN, or Internet connection without a dialup modem for alarm notification.
DIAL-IN/OUT MODEM SETUP Use this setup for dialup modem connections only, with no LAN setup. After completing this setup, go to Modem Setup requires the Administrator passcde, 1234. A recommended modem must be connected to the unit via the USB port, and the unit must be powered up to proceed.
