Managing Digital Video

The Intellex is an intelligent system that combines video multiplexing, recording, and viewing of up
to 16 cameras, detecting alarms/events, and notification. It can also include audio and text
recording and playback.
The Intellex can simultaneously display live or playback video, with or without audio and text, host
multiple remote users, archive data, and perform comprehensive video searching, all while
recording multiple video, audio, and text streams.
Intellex is offered in desktop, rack mounted chassis, and RMS (RAID mass storage) platforms
configured with Standard, Deluxe, or Premier packages, each containing pre-configured hardware
and software features.

Basic features

• Simultaneous recording, playback, transmitting, database searching, and archiving.
• Live filters that record and trigger events.
• Digital image recording; exporting images to CD (Deluxe model) or DVD (Premier model).

Optional features

• Archive Manager module allows video archiving to, and retrieval from, a storage device attached
to the network.
• Policy Manager module provides Advanced Security to define user's access privileges to Intellex
resources and functions.
