VORSICHT
Das Bemessungsstrommodul darf nur unter folgenden Bedingun-
gen gezogen werden:
- der Einschubschalter befindet sich in der Trennposition
oder
- der Überstromauslöser ist ausgebaut.
Erdschlussschutzmodule
Für verschiedene Überstromauslöser stehen optional Erdschluss-
schutzmodule zur Verfügung.
Das Überschreiten des Einstellwertes führt je nach Ausführung des
Erdschlussschutzmoduls nur zur Ausgabe einer Meldung oder
gleichzeitig auch zum Auslösen des Überstromauslösers.
Folgende Gerätekombinationen sind möglich:
Überstromauslöser
ETU755 - 776
Die Erdschlusserfassung kann wahlweise erfolgen mit:
- vektorieller Summenbildung der Ströme oder
- einem separaten Erdschlusswandler 1200 A : 1 A.
Belastbarkeit des Eingangs der Erdschlussschutzmodule:
- max. 1 A dauernd
- max. 5 A für 0,5 s.

CAUTION
Remove rating plug only when the circuit breaker is in the open
position.
If the rating plug is removed with the circuit breaker is in the clo-
sed position, the trip unit can trip the circuit breaker unintentio-
nally.
Ground-fault protection modules
Various trip units can be optionally equipped with ground-fault pro-
tection modules.
If the current setting is exceeded, this causes an alarm or - at the
same time - the tripping of the trip unit, depending on the version of
the ground-fault protection module.
The following variations are possible:
Trip unit
ETU755 - 776
The ground fault can be optionally detected as follows:
- Residual of phase currents is three phase systems or
residual of phase currents and neutral current if neutral
sensor is used
- direct sensing of ground return, using a 1200 A : 1 A iron
core sensor
Input current carrying capacity of the ground-fault protection
module:
- max. 1 A continuously
- max. 5 A for 0.5
sec.
