13. Troubleshooting guide

Warning: Switch off the engine and pull out the ignition cable before making any checks or adjustments.
Warning: If, after making an adjustment or repair to the engine, you let it run for a few minutes, remember that
the exhaust and other parts will get hot. Do not touch these parts as they may burn you.
Fault
The unit does not operate
smoothly and vibrates intensively
The engine does not start
Engine does not run smoothly
Drive power falls
The engine will not start or dies
after a short period of time
Inadequate or no ejection
Snow plow is difficult to push

Possible causes
- Bolts loose
- Plow unit mounting loose
- Throttle lever in wrong position
- Spark plug defective
- Fuel tank empty
- Petrol cock closed
- Min. oil level
- Air filter dirty
- Spark plug dirty
- Min. oil level
- Clutch play too large
- Automatic oil cut-out active
- Spark plug foul
- No fuel
- Snow ejection unit blocked
- Plow screw not turning
- V-belt torn or loose
- Runner is worn

- Check bolts

- Top up fuel

- Top up oil
- Clean the air filter

- Top up oil
- Adjust clutch cable
