Maintenance and Care

Cleaning the Dirt Bin
For best performance, the following maintenance tasks should be performed as needed:
1. Keep the Brush Roll free of hair and other debris. Use scissors to carefully remove any
hair, string or other debris wrapped around the brush.
2. Use a soft cloth to clean exterior surfaces. The Dirt Bin may be cleaned with a cloth
dampened with water only. Do not use a strong detergent or cleaner, as this may
damage the finish. Make sure all parts are completely dry before using or charging.
NOTE: Always unplug from the charger and ensure that the power is OFF before
performing any maintenance.
Disposing of the Battery
Caution: Disconnecting the battery will destroy the appliance
and invalidate the warranty.
1. IMPORTANT: Unplug charger.
2. Remove handle then pry 4 wheels from bottom of sweeper.
3. Remove (10) Phillips-head screws on the bottom cover as
shown in picture.
4. Separate top and bottom cover.
5. Remove wire connectors from the battery pack.
6. Keep battery pack together – DO NOT separate individual batteries.
7. Discard remainder of product.
WARNING
This product contains Nickel Cadmium rechargeable batteries. DO NOT mix Nickel Cadmium batteries with general
household waste. According to Federal and State regulations, removal and proper disposal of Nickel Cadmium
batteries is required. For specifi c battery disposal instructions please contact Call2Recycle at 877-723-1297 or visit

Troubleshooting

Problem

Remedies
Check electrical outlet.
Check/replace fuse; reset breaker.
Press Power Switch once to OFF
position.
Follow step 3 under "Charging the
Battery" instructions.
Remove Dirt Bin and check for
obstructions. Replace Dirt Bin.
