6. Troubleshooting

Problem
Does not turn on when power
button is pressed.
LED ramps up/down at
power-up.
LED flashes at power-up.
Need to restore factory
settings
If you cannot resolve a problem with your Scout Repeater, please contact us at
support@cognisys-inc.com. We want to make sure that you are completely satisfied!
Cause
Battery not installed.
Battery discharged.
External power wired
backwards.
Not paired.
Camera box not turned on.
You just want to start over!

Solution
Install battery.
Attach battery to charger and re-
install.
Check battery polarity.
See section "2.9" for details.
See section "2.10" for details.
With the Repeater turned off,
press and hold the power button
until the red power light goes out.
Release the power button.
