Radio broadcasts have different frequency ranges and change
in different steps in different countries.
This unit is factory preset to use in North and South America.
To use the unit in another country, change the receivable
frequency ranges and steps as below.

To use with remote control
Set the HOLD/PRESET~UNING
switch to TUNING position
and follow the above steps to tune in to a station.
After Iietening,
turn off the power by pressing the RADiO
ON/OFF (BAND) button until the display is turned off.
For quick tuning
Keep either the -F or -
button pressed for 1-2 seconds.
When a station is received, the frequency
indicator stops
automatically.
However, it may not stop if the broadcast sig-
nal is weak.
For better reception +
FM: The headphone cord functions as the FM antenna, Keep
it extended and position it appropriately
during radio
reception.
AM: There is a built-in antenna inside the unit. Turn the unit
to find the position that gives best reception.
To
listen to FM stereo broadcasts
Set
the FM ST/MONO switch to FM ST.
if the FM stereo signal is weak and distorted, set it to MONO.
The sound will be monaural,
