Playing with Touch Response

Touch Response alters tone volume in accordance with keyboard pressure (press velocity). This
provides you some of the same expression capabilities you get on an acoustic piano.
Changing Touch Response Sensitivity

While holding down FUNCTION, press the F5 keyboard key.
• Each press of the keyboard key sounds a tone that lets you know what setting was selected.
Notification tone
One low tone
One high tone
Two high tones
Three high tones

Release FUNCTION to complete the setting operation.

Setting type
Off Keyboard pressure does not affect volume.
Light Easier to produce a louder sound than the Normal
setting, for a lighter feel.
Normal Normal Touch Response.
Heavy More difficult to produce a louder sound, for a
heavier feel.
