Important: Do not remove
the memory card in the
middle of an operation when
the card is being accessed.
Set up and use
1. If your phone does not have a music
player that supports MP3 or AAC audio
files, insert the memory card into the
memory card slot of the compatible
phone, and install the Music
application from the memory card to
the phone. For details, see the user
guide for your phone.
2. Remove the memory card from your
phone.
3. If you have an MMC, RS-MMC, or SD
memory card, insert it into the slot of
the USB card reader so that the golden
contacts face down. If you have a
miniSD or microSD (attached to an
adapter) memory card, insert it into
the slot of the USB card reader so that
the golden contacts face up. Check

4. Plug the other end of the card reader
into a compatible USB port of your PC
so that the indicator light is on the

5. Create music files from your CDs using
the Nokia PC Suite software or the
Windows Media Player application.
6. Copy the music files to the memory
card using the file manager of your
operating system. Remember to make
back-up copies of all important data.
7. Remove the memory card from the
card reader, and insert it into your
phone as instructed in its user guide.
8. Plug the Pop-Port connector of the
Nokia Audio Adapter into the Pop-Port
socket of your phone so that the
