Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunc-
tions, damage or physical injury:
 This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on
operating the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed
over to a third party!
 Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags may
become a deadly toy for children.
 Please make sure the mains voltage available in your area corre-
sponds to the operating voltage stated on the type label.
 Do not continue to use the device if the device or the line cord are
damaged. Repair work must be done by a qualified service technician.
 Do not conduct the line cord over sharp edges and corners or hot
surfaces.
 Switch the device off and unplug it if you don't use it or clean it. Never
pull on the power cord, always grasp the plug itself to unplug.
 Keep the device out of reach of children. It is not a toy.
 Do not place any burning objects such as candles on the top of the
device.
 Do not place any objects containing liquids such as flower vases on the
top of the device.
 Do not use the device in the vicinity of hot surfaces or in damp envi-
ronments. Protect it from direct sunlight, strong magnetic fields and
dusty conditions.
 Protect the unit from impacts and strong vibrations.
 Use the device on a solid and horizontal surface.
 Do not disassemble the device or attempt to repair it yourself. It does
not contain parts serviceable by you. In the case of questions or prob-
lems, turn to our customer support.
