Poor Skin Contact message appears on the phone
CAUSE
This message indicates poor contact between your skin, the monitor and Strip (or
electrodes). It is NOT related to the Bluetooth or cellular connection of the phone.
RESOLUTIONS
Tap OK
Tap OK on the phone to dismiss the message.
Check the monitor attachment
Ensure the monitor is securely attached to the micro-USB connector.
Check the chest application
a. Adhesion
Ensure that the Strip or leads are securely adhered to the skin without
wrinkles or bubbles. If the Strip is not securely adhered or loose edges,
wrinkles, bubbles exist, replace the Strip. When applying the Strip, apply
pressure on the gel pads to ensure good contact with the skin.
