Vandal Proof Sub for Areas of Rescue Assistance
DESCRIPTION:
The NE-NVP-RA sub station is vandal proof, and
can be used with NEM or NEM-RS master stations.
Designed for ADA applications providing areas of
Rescue Assistance, this unit features Emergency
and Braille signage, a large red call button, and
"Call Placed" and "Help Coming" LEDs.
The NE-NVP-RA is designed to be flush mounted,
or surface mounted with the SBX-NVP surface
mount box. Tamper proof screws are provided,
along with a tool for installation.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Power Source:
Supplied by master station
Speaker:
20 ohms, 3" diameter, water proof and puncture resistant, 2.5 oz. ceramic magnet
Faceplate:
11 gauge carbon steel with powder-coated white baked epoxy finish
Calling:
Pressing call button at sub latches call at NEM master until answered
Communication:
Hands free at sub. Master is push-to-talk or VOX handset.
Mounting:
Flush mount in 3-gang box (Raco 952) with 3-gang device cover (Raco 822)
Surface mount with SBX-NVP
Mounting Hardware:
Tamper proof screws with tool for installation
Terminations:
Color-coded prewired pigtails
Wiring:
With remote reset switch: 4-conductor homerun from each sub,
or 3 common wires plus 1 individual wire per sub station, looped.
(Remote reset switch is wired in series with one common wire)
Shielded wire is recommended.
Use Aiphone #822206 for homerun wiring (or up to 3 subs), #822210 for up to
7 stations on each run, or #822215 for up to 12 stations on each run.
Wiring Distance:
420' with 22AWG; 1000' with 18AWG.
