12. Disconnect the hot glue gun from the power supply after finishing the work!
Notes:
As soon as the hot-melt glue gun is removed from the charging station in wireless operation,
its energy supply is interrupted and the adhesive can only be applied for a short time.
The hot glue gun can also be used if the mains cable is plugged into the socket on the unit.
The user is free to choose the most suitable operating mode for the task to be performed.
Never try to pull broken glue sticks out of the device. A broken glue stick can remain in the
device.
Always practise applying the adhesive to residual material until you have gained confidence in
using the hot-melt glue gun.
As with all adhesives, the adhesive performance depends on the weather conditions in the
working area. As the respective application conditions are decisive, the information given here
is for orientation only.
Make sure that the surfaces to be glued are dry and free of dust, grease and other pollutants.
Apply the adhesive to only one of the surfaces and then immediately join the two surfaces to -
gether. Then press the parts together for 20–30 s.
When glueing different materials, apply the adhesive to the material with the lowest ab-
sorbency.
When cold materials are glued, a better glueing performance can be achieved if the surfaces
are heated before the adhesive is applied.
When you glue textiles and similar materials, it is advised to apply the adhesive in wavy lines.
Excess adhesive can be removed with a sharp knife after it has cooled down.
Storage
Make sure that all parts of the unit have cooled down completely before storage. Never wrap
the power cord around a device that has not cooled completely.
Store the device safely in a dry place out of the reach of children.
