E-mail
E-mail (XXX@ezweb.ne.jp) is a service that allows you to exchange
emails between cell phones and computers. You can send not only
text but also photos and video.
• A packet communication connection is necessary to use an e-mail
application. It is necessary to first set up an e-mail address. When
starting the e-mail application for the first time, please first follow the
initial set up as directed on-screen.
• It is necessary to make an IS NET application to use e-mail. For
those customers who have not applied when purchasing, please
contact your au shop or the customer service center.
◎ E-mail can be used overseas.
◎ When sending and receiving e-mail, the packet costs change depending
on the data size. Usage overseas may incur higher costs. For more details,
refer to the au catalogue or the au website.
◎ When attachments are included, it may take longer to send and receive
e-mail depending on the reception where the cell phone is being used.
Send E-mail

On the home screen, tap
New
The mail creation screen will be displayed.

Tap the address field and directly enter.

Enter a contact's e-mail address as the
recipient.

Select an e-mail address from sent mail history
and received mail history as a recipient.
Put a check on the e-mail addresses and tap

Mail Sent
• To delete the history, tap
Check the e-mail addresses → Delete →

Delete.
Profile
Enter a customer's e-mail address that is
registered to the product.
Paste
Paste an e-mail address that has been saved
to the keyboard.
※ Displayed if there is text saved to the clipboard.

Tap the Subject Field → Enter a Subject
You can enter up to 50 full characters or 100 half-byte characters in a
subject.

Tap the Text Field → Enter Text → Complete
You can enter up to 5,000 full characters or 10,000 half-byte
characters in a message.

Send
◎ Animations are not possible.
◎ In texts and messages, half-byte kana and half-byte numbers cannot have
the following: ・ −゛ ゜ 、 。 「 」 �
◎ The greatest number of emails a recipient can have is 1,000 in a day.
◎ The greatest number of e-mails that can be sent to a recipient at once is
30 (including To/Cc/Bcc. 64 half-byte characters in one).
◎ When sending an au message to another network, the emoticons will
change to that of the network.
※ The emoticons may also not change.
◎ Emoticons that are sent to other devices, phones or computers may not
display properly for the recipient.
◎ On the create mail screen, touch Save to save the e-mail to your outbox.
