■ Main Widgets
The main widgets are as below.
• Message Widget: View messages. Tap the widget and tap "Widget
Settings" to change the name of the widget and set the length of
time new messages are displayed. To add a PC mail account, see
"Adding a PC Mail Account" (page 24).
• Music Widget: Play a playlist. Tap a song title to open the music
application. To learn more about playing music, see "Music" (page
41).
• News Widget: View news. Tap the widget to change the name of
the widget, change the period news items are displayed for and
select the news source. Tap
• Weather Widget: Check the weather. Tap the widget, tap
tap "Settings" to change the temperature units and add a city. Tap
to add a city. Tap the widget and flick left or right to display the
weather for cities that have been added.
※When you can't search for a Japanese city with kanji, please use
romaji.
For example: Shinjuku
■ Customizing Quick Start Area
You can set three applications in the quick start area that is normally
displayed at the bottom of the screen. To set an application to the
quick start area, long touch an icon on the quick start area and tap
the application you wish to set.
