1. Important Notes
a) Please follow the steps outlined here exactly.
b) Please keep your phone connected to your computer throughout the
entire process.
c) Please make sure that your phone has at least 40% battery left.
d) Either installing another OS on your phone (also called "flashing") or
rooting it could invalidate your phone's original warranty. Please check
with the customer service or technical support department of your
phone's manufacturer for details.
e) A misstep in the process could result in "bricking" your phone (making
it completely inoperable), so please back up your data beforehand.
2. Getting Ready
a) Download the Smartisan OS ROM onto your computer and then copy it
to your phone's root directory.
b) Make sure that bootloader on your phone is already unlocked (you
could use the All-in-One file from the OnePlus package to unlock it, see
here: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/oxygenos-2-1-4-for-the-
oneplus-one.425544/)
c) Download flash_recovery.zip onto your computer and unzip it.
3. ROM Installation
a) On your phone, go to Settings > More > Developer Options and turn on
"USB Debugging."
b) Connect your phone to a computer with a USB cable.
c) Enter Recovery Mode:
• Windows Users: Find the flash_recovery folder and run the
flash_recovery.bat file located there.
• Mac Users: Find the flash_recovery folder and open the
flash_recovery.sh file located there with Mac Terminal.
d) You will enter the Smartisan recovery mode in a moment.
e) On your phone, tap "Wipe data/factory reset," then "Yes – delete all
