- Page 4 OPERATION 1. Connect hose assembly (as per Fig. 2). 2. Open both tank shut-off valve and hose shut- off valve. 3. Open vent screw on fill cap. 4. This Gas Caddy operates in a gravity feed mode, therefore Your gas caddy MUST BE HIGHER than tank to be filled.
