Headset Inspection Table
Condition
Check for cracks and other visible damage to the
housing.
Check for visible damage.
Check for visible cuts. Check that uniform
pressure does not cause bottoming against
earcup.
Check for tears or excessively dirty.
Check for cuts, kinks, or frayed area on cable.
Check for dents or other physical damage;
Corrosion buildup.
Check for leakage, dents, corrosion buildup or
other physical damage.
Check for visible damage to microphone
assembly.
Check for visible damage or blockage of the metal
screens in front of the TTC microphones on the
front of each earcup.
