PARTS AND FEATURES CONTROL PANEL CONTROL PANEL Power On and Off Plug into the main socket. The "- -" icon will appear on the display as shown below. Press the POWER button once to turn the unit on. Press the POWER button once more to turn the unit off. - Page 10 PARTS AND FEATURES Timer mode The timer allows the user to program the air conditioner starting time or shutoff time. Timer ON setting Plug in the unit; it will go in Standby mode. Press the "timer" button, then the Timer indicator and number of hours on the screen will flash. Tap or hold the UP arrow (▲) or the DOWN arrow (▼) to change starting time, in 0.5 hour increments up to 10 hours, then in 1 hour increments up to 24 hours.
- Page 11 REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES INSERTING OR REPLACING THE BATTERIES Remove the cover at the back of the remote control. Replace the old batteries with two new "AAA" 1.5V batteries, inserting them according to the polarity (see the instructions inside the battery compartment). Replace the cover. Point the remote control at the control panel on the unit.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS USING THE REMOTE CONTROL TURNING THE UNIT ON Plug air conditioner into the outlet. Press the POWER button on the remote (when turned on, the unit starts operating in the same mode as when it was turned off). If the screen on the unit displays "P1", the water collection tank inside the unit may be full. Refer to the "Drainage Instructions" on Page 16 for instructions on draining excessive water.
