Floor pan in accordance with § 19 WHG with Ü marking (Conformity Labelling)
according to the Steel trough guidelines (Stawa-R)

Intended application

chemical cabinets are used for storing water hazardous and / or poisonous
®
substances in closed containers in workrooms as long as the storage is compatible with the
protection of the employees.
4.
General safety-related instructions / warranty
• The cabinets must be setup, operated and maintained in such a way that the safety of the
employees is guaranteed against harmful vapours.
• The storage of combustible fluids, aggressive substances or materials that can lead to the
development of fires and explosions due to spontaneously combustible or instable properties
is forbidden.
• When operating the chemical cabinet, observe the respective national guidelines, directives
and legislations that are used for this purpose.
• A functional check must be carried out before commissioning for the purpose of detecting
damage caused by transport, shipment and incorrect installation!
• Guarantee / warranty exists according to our GTC. See also point 11.
• Please observe your obligation to exercise diligence - Damage must be eliminated
immediately and leaks must be sealed!
• The opening range of the doors must be kept free and clean.
• Doors and drawers should only be kept open for supplying and removal - Keep the doors /
drawers closed!
• Please observe the maximum storage quantity, loading of the shelve inserts, etc. according to
Appendix 1 or according to the labels on the door / drawer.
• The chemical cabinets are not intended to be used for storing aggressive materials (e.g.
acids and alkalis, corrosive gases) - otherwise there is a risk of corrosion to the interior
equipment and the exhaust gas ! Use our special acids and alkalis cabinet for this purpose.
• Check the resistance of the cabinet surface before storing the storage goods (e.g. chemicals)
• The collecting equipment (floor pan) must collect 10% of the total amount stored above it but,
at least the content of the largest single container. In water protection areas, 100 % of the
storage quantity must be collected as long as the storage is permissible. (Applicable for
Germany)
• The respective national guidelines must be fulfilled
• Suitable personal protective equipment must be worn when using substances or toxins
harmful to health!
