My FSA 30000/60000 keeps going off for no apparent reason. I have cleaned each of the units for dust and removed the battery from the main unit as well as the wireless module however they keep going off. They last about 20 seconds before stopping. Any advice on what to do?
Thanks

The Matelec FSA-30000 uses a built-in, non-replaceable 3V lithium battery. If the unit turns off after 20 seconds despite cleaning, it may indicate a battery failure or internal fault. Since the battery cannot be replaced, the alarm may need to be replaced.

I had 4 Matelec FSA30000 smoke alarms installed 31.10.2022'. How do I know if the alarms are operational. I have heard smoke alarms usually either 'beep'' or a light shows every 40 seconds, to show they are operational. My alarms don't show any form of indication. How can I test them to see if they are functioning?

To test if your Matelec FSA-30000 smoke alarms are functioning properly, follow these steps:
1. Ensure each alarm is turned on by rotating the base. 2. Press and hold the control button on each alarm until it chirps to confirm operation. 3. To test the wireless connection, press and hold the control button for 4 seconds. 4. If the alarms are correctly connected, all connected alarms will chirp for 15 seconds.
This confirms that the alarms are functioning and communicating properly.
