- Page 4 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1 • Place the chair base (A) on its side. Place the sofa arm supports (C) side by side and line the attachment points to both sides of the base as shown. Key in place each side arm support one at a time into the base (A) by sliding the two slots on (C) into (A) as shown.
