FUNCTION

Lane Keeping System

Notifies you to stay in your lane through the steering system and
the instrument cluster display when the front camera detects an
unintentional drift out of your lane is likely to occur. The system
automatically detects and tracks the road lane markings using a
camera mounted behind the interior rear view mirror.
Press the button located on the left steering wheel lever to switch
the system on or off.
NOTE
The system stores the on or off setting until you manually
change it, unless the system detects a MyKey. Set your preferred
system settings by Mode and Intensity through your information
display screen. Refer to the Information Displays chapter in your
Owner's Manual for more details on how to change your settings.
Refer to the Driving Aids chapter in your Owner's Manual for more
information on the Lane Keeping System.

Driver Alert

*
Automatically monitors your driving behavior using
various inputs including the front camera sensor. If
the system detects that your driving alertness level
reduces below a certain threshold, then the system
alerts you with a tone and a message in the cluster
display. Press OK on the steering wheel to clear the warning.
Pre-Collision Assist Warning System
This system alerts you of certain collision risks. The system's sensor
detects your vehicle's rapid approach to other vehicles traveling

in the same direction as your vehicle. When your vehicle rapidly
approaches another vehicle, a red warning light flashes and a
tone sounds.
The brake support system assists you in reducing any collision
speed by pre-charging the brakes. If the risk of collision continues
to increases after the audiovisual warning, the brake support
prepares the brake system for rapid braking. The system does not
automatically activate the brakes, but if you press the brake pedal
lightly, the brakes apply full stopping power. Refer to the Driving Aids
chapter in your Owner's Manual for more details.
You can adjust the warning system's sensitivity through your
information display. Refer to the Information Displays chapter in your
Owner's Manual for more details.
BLIS
(Blind Spot Information System)
®
with Cross Traffic Alert
BLIS is designed to aid you in detecting vehicles that may have
entered into your blind spot zone. Cross traffic alert warns you of
vehicles approaching from the sides when the transmission is in
reverse (R). BLIS and cross traffic turn on a yellow indicator light in
the exterior mirror on the side of the vehicle the approaching vehicle
is coming from. Refer to the Driving Aids chapter in your Owner's
Manual for more information.
NOTE
NEVER use BLIS or cross traffic alert as a replacement for
using the interior and exterior mirrors and looking over your shoulder
before changing lanes. The systems are not replacements for
careful driving. Use both systems only as an assist.
