- Page 2 CIB 2867 (502A) Headset Adapter (3164-HFA) The Headset Adapter (Figure 1) allows a headset to be connected to 10-button and 34-button voice terminals. Remove the plug with a pair of small snub-nosed pliers by grasping the outside edge of the blue tab with one tip of the pliers and insert- ing the other tip into the blue modular plug’s center hole (Figure 3A).
