Installation
There are two methods available to install the ARD-1007B HDMI digital extender(ARD-1007BTX and ARD-
1007BRX): Wall mounting and DIN-rail mounting.
1. Wall mounting
The extender can be placed on a shelf, table, or mounted onto a wall or board. To mount them onto a wall or
board, you will require the mounting screws found in the accessory box.
Please follow the steps shown in the diagram below:
Step1. Situate the ARD-1007B HDMI digital extender on a board or a wall. Firmly secure it by screwing it in
with the four "#8-32UNC" sized screws.
Step2. Make sure that the ARD-1007B HDMI digital extender is correctly and securely seated onto the board
or wall.
2. DIN-Rail mounting
• As shown in the figure below, please follow the steps to mount the ARD-1007B optical digital extender

(ARD-1007BTX and ARD-1007BRX) via DIN-Rail.
• Step 1:
The two metal clasps are pre-installed on the back of ARD-1007B HDMI digital Extender, place
one Din-Rail on the wall or board, and use a screwdriver to tighten the screws to affix the Din-Rail onto
the wall or board.
• Step 2:
Snap the metal clasp by the built-in iron loop spring on the Din-rail to mount the ARD-1007B
HDMI digital Extender onto the wall or board.

• Step 3:
You can also slide ARD-1007B around the Din-rail to move it to a desired position.
• To remove the ARD-1007B Extender from Din-rail, press the iron loop spring built-in the metal clasp on

Connections
Method1:
If you have ARD-1007B HDMI digital extender transmitter(TX) and Receiver(RX), you can:
1. Connect the HDMI cable(HDMI IN port) and RS-232 cable(RS-232 IN port) between the ARD-1007BTX and your PC
for HDMI signal and touch signal input.
2. Connect the PC and the ARD-1007BTX(USB IN connector) via USB cable for controlling by mouse and keyboard on
the touch display screen.
3. Connect the display monitor and the ARD-1007BTX (HDMI Loop Out connector) by HDMI cable.
4. Connect one end of the optical fiber cable to the Local Out connector of ARD-1007BTX, and connect the other end to
the Remote In port at the rear of the ARD-1007BRX.
5. Connect the HDMI cable and RS-232 cable between the ARD-1007BRX and the touch display for HDMI signal and
touch signal output.
6. Insert a USB device on the ARD-1007BRX if you have USB connection between the PC and ARD-1007BTX.
7. Connect one end of the supplied power adapter to DC power connector of the ARD-1007BTX, and connect the other
end to the wall AC outlet.
8. If you require network connection, connect either the LAN1_HUB_LAN2 port on the ARD-1007BTX or LAN3_HUB_
LAN4 port on the ARD-1007BRX to a Router, and connect the other LAN port to your desired network device.
9. If you require remote control, insert Remote control connector terminal into the IR Remote control(In/Out) connector
on the ARD-1007BTX and ARD-1007BRX both.

Method2:
If you have ARD-1007B digital extender transmitter(TX) and ARD-1008 HDMI digital extender receiver(RX), you can:
1. Connect the HDMI cable(HDMI IN port) and RS-232 cable(RS-232 IN port) between the ARD-1007BTX and your PC
for HDMI signal and touch signal input.
2. Connect the PC and the ARD-1007BTX(USB IN connector) via USB cable for controlling by mouse and keyboard on
the touch display screen.
3. Connect the display monitor and the ARD-1007BTX Local Host(HDMI Loop Out connector) by HDMI cable.
4. Connect one end of the optical fibre cable to the Local Out connector of ARD-1007BTX, and connect the other end to
the Remote In port at the rear of the ARD-1008RX.
5. Connect the HDMI cable and RS-232 cable between the ARD-1008RX and the touch display for HDMI signal and
touch signal output.
6. Insert a USB device on the ARD-1008RX if you have USB connection between the PC and ARD-1007BTX.
7. Connect one end of the supplied power adapter to DC power connector of the ARD-1007BTX, and connect the other
end to the wall AC outlet.
8. If you require network connection, connect the LAN1_HUB_LAN2 port on the ARD-1007BTX to a Router and connect
the LAN port on the ARD-1008RX to your desired network device.
