  • Page 2 Footboard Attachment Upper Section Assembly Squeeze the Radius Rods together and insert the ends into Thread the Upper Pull Rod into the Connector as shown in (Fig. the holes in the Support Casting as shown (Fig. 1).   • Page 3 Fig. 9 To protect the chain from damage when transporting your H-1000K it is advisable to remove the chain from the footboard. To remove the chain, remove the Key Bolt as shown in (Fig.10.) After removing the chain, thread the Key Bolt finger tight back into the footboard for safe keeping until the chain is reattached.
  • Page 4 CAUTION Periodically check all Allen Screws for tightness and tighten them with the provided Allen Wrenches as needed. Periodically lightly lube external moving parts such as the Chain, Wing Nuts, Wing Bolts, Key Bolts, and Footboard Hinge to achieve optimum performance from your hi-hat. To maximize traction of the rubber mat beneath the heel plate, keep it clean and dust free using a damp cotton towel.
